Tarra Khash just can't stay out of trouble. Still trekking across the desert, he stumbled upon a seemingly decent traveler who offered a reward for help. Being an action-based fantasy story, this was a front for betrayal which strands Tarra in a treasure trove of a dead alien king and two Cthulhu-related guardians. Tarra escapes through his wits and his foe's greed.
