Spoilers for a couple of side quests in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla
Butch:
So....many....dots....
Dots....everywhere....
I'm, maybe, two clicks ahead of you story wise, but you can do those very quickly. I then set out for the story bit in the north (Sigurd's), and, well, between there and here there are SO MANY DOTS.
OK, so the video I sent over the weekend that wouldn't play....
I climbed and climbed and climbed to get to an artifact. I got to the top of this ruin, and a dude charged me, grabbed me, and threw me off the thing and a whole ways more. It was horribly glorious.
With my new ability, I decided to go back to get the artifact, all, "how do you like me now?" I climb and climb and climb and THE DUDE IS ALREADY DEAD! He's just lying there, ready to be looted.
Maybe he had a heart attack throwing me half a mile.
Got the artifact. Check.
Feminina:
Hahahaha! That's hilarious.
Did you meet the nudist? (DISAPPOINTINGLY NOT ACTUALLY NUDE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU GAME.) Also had to climb a bit to reach him, that's pretty much the only connection, but he was also amusing.
Enjoy heart-attack guy's loot. You earned it with that gloriously horrible moment.
Butch:
A not nude nudist? No! I agree, though, that ain't right. If you're gonna go there, go there.
I found a lady in a tower being guarded. And two idiots trying to practice a raid. That's as silly as I got.
Cleaned out a fort. Did a couple cursed symbols. Those are creepy.
You know. Dots.
You move the story?
Feminina:
I only play every other day, so I didn't do anything last night--Mr. O's game time. I'm still sitting on the "go on a raid" quest.
Butch:
Fret not. The only person who finishes games faster than you is him. He'll be done in no time, then back to the nightly dot raid.
Feminina:
Fingers crossed. Those dots aren't checking themselves off on the map.
Butch:
They are not. And there are so many of them! And the quest marker is so far away!
Randvi even said "you should really go on horseback or by boat," to which I said "and miss the dots? Ain't happening."
Game, if you didn't want me to play orlag, shouldn't have put the quest marker so far away.
Spent way too long playing orlag last night.
