There are so many anime on Netflix that you can watch in Japanese so why watch this one? In English too?

First because it's NOT Japanese ! I just finished watching season 1 of Trese on Netflix and I'm really enjoying discovering new creatures from Filipino culture: Aswangs for example had already appeared on one episode of Grimm but Tikbalangs or Tiyanaks ? New to me. There is a mix of English and Filipino ( the spells for example) that is flowing and natural and I've fallen under the spell of the Filipino langage!

For the main female character. The first thing that attracted me was the drawing of the characters and the use of colors and of course the main character being a female and not another tough guy!

For the views of the city. People who've been to Manila will (it seems) recognize landmarks from the city .
