What have I got planned for 2022 blog-wise?
- Bond songs. Lots of blogs have done Bond-film rewatches, and done it better than I would. I've never written much about music, so this is a weird and cheesy way to start. All the Bond themes in order and then ranked. Probably fairly short posts.
- Rockets & Raytheon: A Debarkle Coda. This is a sort of cool-down from the 2021 project. In the aftermath of the Raytheon sponsorship, I thought I should add a quick chapter/appendix highlighting the strand in Debarkle that touched on the interesection of fandom, space exploration & the military-industrial complex. However, it got too long even in the short time I spent on it. I'm breaking that up into time periods and doing shorter but still Debarkle style posts. These will be occasional.
- Museum of Right Wing Gadgets. A different Debarkle omission was Vox Day's WarMouse - the multi-button monster that's the epitome of his projects. But what about J. Hutton Pulitzer and the "cue-cat"? I've got six entries so far in weird minor inventions that have odd connections with radical right wing politics. Again, this will be an occasional series. We'll see how many I find.
- Susan's Salon will continue.
- Sunday Beer will be back.
- Loved books will be back on occasion.
- Firefly Friday will continue and may extend into Farscape Friday.
- Whatever comes along. Puppy content will definitely dwindle from here on in, unless something weird happens.
- More silly stuff because it makes me happy.
