In the future, however, with groceries retailers should prepare for a mixed bag of physical and digital groceries where it will may not be 10 items by 10.0 items to indicate digital products. Expect a wave in years to come where digital food will be a topic of conversation because food consumption is not only based when eaten but when thought and payment lines would benefit from expanding the express lanes.
