Each learner that completes each art piece will receive at least one eBook of mine, from the teacher. The aim is to make sure that you do big (or small), beautiful, and expressive digital works of art with Procreate Beta on your iPad, or with Krita or classic art. You can use ideally pieces of recycled paper to mix the paints for classical art. Once you have good laundry soap, you need not worry about stains on your clothes for the paint. I have paintings that I have done, especially with oil paints all throughout my home. I have also done digital art with photographs. Once centerpiece artwork I have was done with my nieces, the three of us working on it at the same time. In order to engage with all of the learners in this class, I will also share my own drawings and artwork, plus digital artwork. Don't worry about needing to be perfect in this class! Just enjoy expressing yourself with art! There will also be art lesson plan booklets used in this class as well. We will focus on a variety of fun subjects for you to draw throughout this ongoing class, such as: -draw a self-portrait -draw your pet -draw your family -draw a tree -draw a bird -draw a rural scene -draw a musical note -draw a city scene -draw a house And…the list is endless. This class will meet on a weekly basis. Each week has a topic and a theme. Here are the topics and themes for the first four weeks: Week 1 - Nov. 6: Fun with painting a self-portrait. Supplies needed: Crayon box (big or small), colored markers, Sharpies, colored pencils, watercolors, oil paints, recycled paper, fresh paper to do the drawing. Week 2 - Nov. 13: Fun with painting an animal or your pet. Supplies needed: Crayon box (big or small), colored markers, Sharpies, colored pencils, watercolors, oil paints, recycled paper, fresh paper to do the drawing. Week 3 - Nov. 20: Fun with painting your family. Supplies needed: Crayon box (big or small), colored markers, Sharpies, colored pencils, watercolors, oil paints, recycled paper, fresh paper to do the drawing. Week 4 - Nov. 27: Fun with painting a tree. Supplies needed: Crayon box (big or small), colored markers, Sharpies, colored pencils, watercolors, oil paints, recycled paper, fresh paper to do the drawing, plus digital art apps and/or the free Krita online digital art software. Each week will have a different theme so learners can start, stop, and continue with the class at any time in this ongoing class. In terms of drawing expressively, we will also be using half sheets of paper so that you can complete your drawings in less time. Using colored markers or crayons, or colored pencils (colored pencils are allowed), we will focus on outlining your drawing before you begin to either paint it or use crayons, or you can choose to create with digital art. In this class, you can use oil paints, colored markers, crayons, colored pencils, watercolor paints, and Sharpie markers if you would want to, plus digital art online and apps. |
