But first...

Yes, another very simple collage on bright card to eventually post to someone, somewhere on this fair planet.
Hm, this is an odd image, isn't it, dear reader?
By the way, I think you might find the notes on this piece of art a little bit disjointed and meandering.
You see, it all came about because of onions. How's that for a mysterious and engaging opening sentence?
I believe that onions are pretty good for you. Everyone should eat more onions, well, so long as one's digestion can cope with them, of course.
Cutting them up needs a bit of care, though. They can make your eyes water, but early in the process you should think about the surface that you slice them up on, and of course the knife that you use for this. I find that if you are not careful, onions tend to linger and 'taint' things - say, if you cut a slice of nice bread from a loaf with a knife that's recently been used for a bit of onion chopping - oh dear! An onion-tainted jam sandwich!
So, when I'm doing my vegetables on the chopping board, and it's the turn of the onions (the Turn of the Onions, that sounds like the title of a dreary arty play!) I grab a piece of paper, perhaps from an old magazine, or some glossy junk mail that has come through my letterbox, and do my, head held back, onion cutting on that - and then immediately discard the paper and wash the oniony knife. (My spell-checker didn't like 'oniony' at all!)
I'll bet you are wondering, by now, where all this is leading.
Today's postcard:
You see, that glued-on scrap of ripped paper with the back of the chap's head and the comforting hand, was lying on top of the pile of junk mail on the kitchen table. It was actually, and serendipitously, sitting on top of that aerial view of the holiday caravan park ('trailer park' US). I spotted this odd juxtaposition and immediately grabbed and saved the two items to make a quick postcard with later in the day.
I think it's a quite good postcard, it looks like there might be a lot of pithy 'drama' and 'meaning' in this one!
No onions were injured or upset in the making of this artwork.
