Hello. Remember me?

I wouldn't blame you if not – I've been neglecting the blog terribly over the last few weeks. I'll warn you now – this is all about to get very woe is me. Feel free to skip to the next section of books read and reviewed.

Before I get into my problems, I do want to acknowledge that this pales in comparison to the plight of those in Ukraine and thoughts are with those caught up in those events. I hope that there is a resolution soon.

A couple of weeks ago I was involved in an accident – a car ran over my foot. I'm ok for the most part and there's nothing broken but there is a lot of bruising, swelling, and soft tissue damage plus a sprained ankle.  Some two weeks later it is healing, but the recovery feels so very sloooooow (I've little patience at the best of times and these are far from the best of times) and I'm still not able to bear much weight on that foot.  So despite being housebound for two weeks and counting, blogging hasn't really been at the top of my list of priorities.

So what does March have in store?  For me, I'm hoping for a gentle return to blogging, not least because I'm signed up to three blog tours this month 😬.  Aside from that, it may still be a little quieter than usual on here, but I will try to post with some regularity, as well as getting back to bloghopping and sharing where possible.

I received 3 books for review this month:

And purchased 7:

TBR Watch

Hmmm...

  • Books out = 10 read + 1 DNF* = 11
  • Books in = 3 ARC + 7 purchases = 10
  • Equals a reduction of 1 in my TBR

*I may come back to some of the DNFs at a later date, but for now they have been removed from my TBR.
