An Outlander prequel on the way? by PS Variety is reporting that Starz is working on a prequel to the highly successful Outlander saga. Matthew B. Roberts is working on the proposed prequel which could be based on Diana Gabaldon's own 2013 short story Virgins about Jamie's early life, or on the book about his parents that she is still working on. The parent series has already been renewed for a seventh season of 16 episodes.
