But first...
Dulltown. UK: Today's single dictionary word is, torgoch... It's alright, it's just a sort of char.

Well, enough about the word torgoch - let's think about a new lino print, well a drawing for one, anyway.
Are you getting a bit fed up with these preliminary drawings, dear reader? I seem to have been doing them for ages, doing them for yonks, indeed!
Here we go!
Oh, look, it's just another of his (See how I'm now distancing myself from the first person - perhaps I'm going to say some critical things?) strange objects hanging there, trying to be mysterious, in some sort of background. It is usually black space with funny shaped planets peppered around in it, or perhaps just a load of meaningless stripes! Ah, it's just a load of meaningless stipes, again! I wonder why he has put a question mark in a circle to the right of the drawing? Ah, of course, he's not sure how near, or far away, the centre point, or points, of the curves will be. Will they be equally spaced, or more random this time? These images look like the covers of cheap 1960s bad science fiction books! Which is probably not a bad thing.
So what has he got for us today? I see he's try to depict his usual 'one on top of the other' with the use of mysterious and suggested solidity of the elements - he's been doing that for ages - the non-existent thickness shadow, which makes them look three-dimensional, yet again! Mind you, it does seem to work, don't you think?
Oh, just look at those cheap-skate reading glasses, about £2.50 from the cheap shop in town! He really ought to get some proper ones from an optician. Well, one of the participants, seems to be a great big letter 'I', and the other seems to be a horizontally long drawn out letter 'U' - no meaning, or significance there, I suppose. I don't think it's a plan for space station. I wonder why he got out a pen that writes in red? Hm, I have a feeling that the final print, if there ever is one, will look just like this drawing! Actually, just looking at it, it does look a little bit three-D already! Maybe it is a space station?
