Well, this didn't work. For the first time since my seventh grade art class, which was once interrupted with news that the Pope had been shot, I tried to paint something other than a wall or Dungeons and Dragons miniature.
The rowboat looks okay but everything else is a mess. Unlike colored pencils, you can't erase paint. The digital image looks even worse than the actual painting, especially the mermaid's face.
Maybe I'll try to redo it in pencil. Or maybe I'll just stick to painting walls.
