Introduction to Spanish for Youngsters
This ongoing class will be conducted via email. The payment is once per week.
These flexible schedule classes conducted via email and Zoom. You will learn the basics of Spanish with the following schedule. Includes live video of each class.
Week 1: Learning the alphabet, how to pronounce the R's in Spanish, learning numbers, learning about masculine and feminine. If by Zoom live classes using Rosetta Stone. Additional teaching resources provided using Twinkl and Rockalingua are used as teaching tools.
Week 2: Learning to tell time, learning the seasons of the year, the days of the week, the months. Continued practice with Rosetta Stone live Zoom meetings.
Week 3: Learning the names for clothes, household items, what the word for cars are, general increase of vocabulary, plus focus on Spanish grammar. Pre-recorded Zoom meeting with Rosetta Stone.
Week 4: Pre-recorded Zoom meeting with Rosetta Stone completed by teacher at no more than Unit 3 of Rosetta Stone depending on your understanding.
Also, books from Amazon Kindle will also be used.
Assessment criteria: Correspondence and feedback via email with questions and answers. Homework conducted with Zoom and Edpuzzle.
CLASS TIMES: (55 minutes per lesson once per week)
Sundays: 7:00 p.m. EST
