To answer the last post, after a longer than expected stay in the waiting room, a nurse apologized for the delay and led me to an interior room.
I waited a long time for the doctor who also apologized (in all my medical tests, I don't remember both a doctor and nurse apologizing). After hom, I waited for the nurse to come back for blood tests. When she did, she apologized again.
That's a medical apology trifecta, such an event that has long been thought only a legend.
The only other notable aspect of the visit was that the doctor was surprised over how much weight I've lost. I was starting to think my scale was broke and I went delusional.
