To mark the 30th anniversary, we rectified that error: There was no real guarantee that the BBC were going to give us Halloween night! So that was a bit of a shot in the dark for the director, in terms of decorating the set and that kind of thing, with pumpkins and apple bobbing and all the rest of it. Lesley [Manning] just went for broke, thinking 'Well, they've got to do this on Halloween.' But we hadn't been given the slot or anything, so it was a bit of a flyer.
