Whether it's words and numbers or words that spell out numbers or numbers that signal words, consumers relate them to everything.
Pattern recognition helps people memorize thing, and when the pattern is altered to another level it could stand out or make it forgettable.
Numbers that alter the pattern to the eyes may not stick, but combined with the sounds of the ears enhances the senses making them resonate. And when they resonate consumers create stories about them to justify their use like with prices and quantity which is key to selling items and key to remembering them on list.
Numbers are powerful.
