Writing blog posts for a niche blog about grocery delivery, retail, packaging, digital food that sprinkled in with bits and segments like 'mustard moments' and 'thought for food'
When a blogger gets into a streak typing ayu blog post every day, the ones I recall the most are the days I've missed.
And there are two from this year. The missed post on November 1st and from December 29th. I decided to blog every day since February 2018 and when I missed twice over the past month it surprised me, now with over 2.300 blog posts and 700,000+ words. (I'll have to check for the exact numbers)
Here's my advice for anyone wanting to start a blog.
Just start. Write something and use WordPress if you're unsure which platform.
And know that you will not do it for the money or recognition. Blogs are interesting, personal, and give someone who aspires to write a place to write.
When you get on a WordPress will let you know and keep track of the number of consecutive blog posts.
Blogs are tools to write, and I encourage anyone to write (type) on something that interests then and not to expect a flood of readers, because you will be the first reader and that's good enough.
There's no better time to start something. A blog. A hobby. A business. A book. When you make decision, your life transform one iteration at a time.
I'm rooting for you. And when you start, you'll be rooting for you.
Happy New Year (one day in advance).
