Because I wanted to do something silly to celebrate the end of the year and I had fun with this in 2019, 2020, and 2021. I love the idea of it! It's a fun way to look back at what we've read this year, with a bit of humor mixed in.
The rules are simple: Using only books you have read this year, answer these questions. Try not to repeat a book title.
Side note: click on the book title to read me review of it!
In high school I was: the girl with the dragon heart
People might be surprised by: what moves the dead
I will never be: wench
My fantasy job is: the orchid thief
At the end of a long day I need: a turn of the tide
I hate: when women were dragons
I Wish I had: a prayer for the crown-shy
My family reunions are: the grief of stones
At a party you'd find me with: three mages and a margarita
I've never been to: where the drowned girls go
A happy day includes: drunk on all your strange new words
Motto I live by: bluff
On my bucket list is: city of last chances
In my next life, I want to have: a sh*tload of crazy powers
And a Bonus Version from the First Mate!
In high school I was: Poe's Detective
People might be surprised by: The Innocents Abroad
I will never be: Autonomous
My fantasy job is: Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Seas
At the end of a long day I need: The Compleat Glass Teat
I hate: The Last Leonardo
I Wish I had: Brewster's Millions
My family reunions are: The Ultimate Evil
At a party you'd find me with: The Bear and the Nightingale
I've never been to: Action Park
A happy day includes: Fake Physics
Motto I live by: If this Book Exists, You're in the Wrong Universe
On my bucket list is: The Fifty-Year Mission
In my next life, I want to have: Ancillary Justice
If you'd like to give this a shot, consider yourself tagged! Arrrrrr!
And with that goodbye 2022. May year 2023 actually be so much better. Happy reading and sailing!
