A Reproduction of the Oldest Mayan Codex in Color
There's a Kickstarter for a full-color restoration of the Maya Codex of Mexico. It was formerly known as the Grolier Codex.
This is a translation of Pre-Columbian manuscripts of Mayan codices. Joaquin De La Sierra has a passion for pre-Columbian Mesoamerican history. This is a pet project made possible by Kickstarter, if it funds.
The book begins with an 8-page gallery of artwork. It features four ancient Maya illustrations and four modern ones made by hand.
Hardcover Edition of Oldest Mayan Codex
The book will be 7"X10" and have approximately 235 pages. There won't be a paperback edition of this book. There will only be hardcover editions.
The editions will come in matte finish, cream paper, with two versions: color and black and white.
You can choose which edition you prefer.
Please donate to my Ko-fi, so I can afford to make more pledges to the Kickstarters I blog about. I plan to review the final products of the Kickstarter campaigns I back in future posts.
