Now that we're done with February, I'd like to say that there's a hint of spring in the air, but it seems to be dropping colder and according to the forecast it's set to get worse before it gets better – there might even be snow next week! Aside from that, things ARE looking up as the days are getting visibly longer, and that always cheers me up.
It's been a while but I'm now part of a book again, this one organised by a colleague. We had our first meeting in February to discuss the absolutely superb Evelyn Hugo. I am going to try to read all of the books selected as part of this group, although I have to admit that March's title doesn't hold much appeal – see if you can guess which one it is from last month's acquisitions... In fairness, I felt similarly about Evelyn Hugo so this month's title might turn out to be equally enjoyable!
In terms of my own reading and blogging, I read nine books this month, and have been (just about!) keeping on top of my reviews, posting more frequently as a result. Long may it continue!
Books Read and Reviewed
- Read in January, reviewed in February:
- Saha by Cho Nam-Joo (translated by Jamie Chang)
- Read in February:
Favourite Books This Month
Books Acquired
I've not received anything for review this month, but I purchased seven titles:
TBR Watch
Progress!
- Books out = 9 read + 1 DNF* = 10
- Books in = 0 ARCs + 7 purchases = 7
- Gives a reduction of 3 in my TBR!
*I may come back to the DNF at a later date, but for now it has been removed from my TBR.
