I get all sorts of emails from strange places because I sign-up for strange (and often toxic) websites to see what they are about. Back in 2019, I signed up for Jordan Peterson's newly announced social media platform because I hadn't seen an actual dumpster fire for a while. However, when the site started properly it wasn't a Facebook or Twitter-style platform at all but something more like the blogging/newsletter site Medium: https://camestrosfelapton.wordpress.com/2019/11/28/i-visited-the-jordan-peterson-new-social-media-platform/
I rarely look at the emails I still get from that site but one article caught my eye and I was rewarded with some top-grade batshit nonsense that I thought you'd all appreciate.
Maria Kuhl is a professional astrologer and a Jordan Peterson fan. For example, she's written pieces on how the 12 chapters of Peterson's 12 Rules for Life match the 12 signs of the zodiac. So imagine some utter nonsense and then add a frothy different layer of nonsense over the top of it to create a kind of exotic cocktail of nonsense.
If you don't follow astrology, you may not have put much thought into the impact that the discovery of Pluto had on astrology. Would not the existence of an additional (disputed) planet not be a massive challenge to the discipline? If Pluto was included in a horoscope wouldn't it's very lengthy journey around the sun not mean that decades worth of people all have the same Pluto based star sign? Your concerns are unwarranted because nonsense never truly suffers any issues with external facts. For those astrologers who didn't just simply ignore Pluto, the planetoid was adopted as influence on generational or historical change.
Now you'll naturally be wondering how this all fits in with the conservative moral-panic of the day: drag queens. I'll let Maria Kuhl explain:
"Capricorn is the sign that rules the father. Cancer opposite Capricorn rules the mother. We learn gender roles from our parents, so Cancer and Capricorn are the signs that rule gender roles. Since 2008 we have seen the madness of trans ideologi take over the world and the erosion of safeguarding for women and children with men in drag insisting that women give up their rights to single sex spaces, and insisting on drag queens access to children. When Pluto went through Cancer between 1914 and 1939, women started wearing trousers and entered the work force, in part because the men were being killed in war. War is ruled by Aries, the sign 270° from Cancer. The sign 270° from another sign tends to have an oppressive influence on the sign in question, and when Pluto went through Cancer we had WW1 and the whole buildup to WW2. When WW2 broke out, Pluto had just left Cancer and entered the sign of Leo. The sign 270° from Leo is Taurus, the ruler of survival, and it was very difficult to survive for a while."

What is so deliciously nonsensical is not that Pluto being in a given astrological sign causes women to wear trousers but that Pluto NOT being in a given astrological sign also causes stuff to happen. War is ruled by Aries, we are told, and because it was 270° that caused WWI and the lead-up to WWII. We are not told what caused the lead-up to WWI when Pluto was in Gemini but the use of 90° increments means you can blame it on not just fractious twins but slippery fish, confused maidens or weapon-wielding centaurs.
So, according to Kuhl, it's not just Pluto hanging out in Capricorn to blame but also a conniving set of scales.
"The sign 270° from Capricorn is Libra. Libra rules equality. Since 2008 we have had the tyranny of woke ideology where everyone has to be equally miserable, women have to pretend they are as strong as men and men are soy boys in drag, and great injustice is happening in the name of equality."

So there you go. The fault lies in our stars, it seems.
