I looked for the bard, but couldn't find him. Wandered around several sets of woods for a while and eventually just gave up and concluded that I am never going to know the bard's story because I have no freaking clue where he is.
Such is life. I found Viconia and got Dorn to rejoin, so now we're only "popular" at 16 reputation. I can live with that.
Butch:
The bard was where I met Faldorn. I just keep looking up where I found dudes and figure that the dude I want is where some other dude was.
But really, this is my party. Imoen is my fake sister, Khalid and Jaheria are in it for the long haul, Neera is a cutie and this new guy is a GNOME!!!! I don't even know what class he is. Don't care. Do. Not. Care.

Haven't played in forever, but, when I do, I'm going to actual, honest to Torm BALDUR'S GATE!

I really want to do his story, though. I must complete stories! Then he can leave if he's not going to be romantic. Although I'd miss his 500-lb carrying capacity.
The dwarf was kind of evil, but apparently not enough to impact our reputation. Then he got so upset with our heroics that he left! This was before Viconia, though. He probably would have stuck around if I'd planned more carefully.
I met the gnome, but...meetings today, and I've been too busy to type it all up right now.

I'm running with the gnome no matter what. He can suck, he can rob me blind, he is gnome. He is both A gnome, and he is gnome.
I do need someone who can carry stuff, though. I have a weak assed party.

No, I was on my way to the city and met the gnome, took him on, then decided we really needed to rest and sell some things and oh, maybe now is the time to look up why I haven't been able to find Dorn's quest and realize there's a map I missed and go check that out instead. So you'll be ahead of me getting into the city. Enjoy!
