But first...
Dulltown, UK: Today's suit of armour is the one which is complete except for a missing left solleret.

Outlandish is a good word, isn't it, dear reader?
I do wish a few more people were outlandish.
Flicker, that photo sharing site, which I do put my photos on, is packed full of very ordinary pictures, there is not much outlandish in there. Apart from people who use technology to create 'weird' things and stiff looking people, either naked, or in fancy clothes. The trouble with those is they are not 'weird' enough. In fact, they not 'weird' at all.
But look, here's a weird looking one of mine from April. I was waiting for a bus, at the time...

It's the bus station in Beverley - Beverley in East Yorkshire. The bus station is 'situated', as the Americans say, on Sow Hill Road. I suppose it was once a bit of a hill, that had plenty of sows on it.
Excuse me, are you people waiting for the bus to Bridlington, Hornsea, or Dulltown?
Right ho, would you mind crouching on the ceiling of the bus shelter for a moment, this chap wants to take a strange photograph.
Not only is it outlandish, it is also disconcerting. Do you like to be disconcerted, now and again? I do.
It's quite eye-catching, isn't it?
But not too upsetting, I hope.
Those legs and boots draw your eye in, don't they?
How do you feel about the round lamp in the foreground?
Me, I'm glad it was there...
It was something to focus on.
