But first...
Dulltown, UK: Today's used cereal box is the one snipped up, to make plenty of small, neat, rectangular shopping lists.

Yes, French curves.
I like 'em.

Look, there they are!
Real ones, and also a very rough drawing of them - as they might look inside a striking black border, in a nice lino print.
These are old French curves. Someone once gave me a bunch of them. Look how brown and grubby and well used they are.
When I was given them, I didn't really think that I would use them very much, but then lino printing jumped up on me, and immediately they started wanting to be used - oh, and also given eyes.
Yes eyes. They wanted them! As soon as you give one an eye, it becomes a mad beast, or even a snooty human.
Cubes?
Yes, cubes, well they are not really cubes, of course, but sort of 'V'-shapes, that might suggest three-dimensions. These two French curve birds, or humans, need a good three-D space to stand in. Yes, if one has some empty space in one's design, a few cubes are always a good idea to slip in to fill the void, and suggest a bit of depth.
Maybe in this design, the cubes might represent, their thoughts?... Gosh!...
A simple, but engaging, design, I think.
What do you think they are saying to each other?
Hm, they are probably discussing planet warming.
