But first...
Dulltown, UK: Today's word to bandy about in conversation is, parallelogram.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
It's alright, it's alright, it's only a photograph.
Perhaps it would look more interesting when the light comes on - but then, it would probably be dark, of course.
I suppose my eye was at first caught by the frilly triangles at the bottom.
Are they there to look cute? They remind me of a jester's outfit. Actually, they are probably the most interesting things in the composition.
And what about the holes? They look like they are ripped or burned in.
Is this a boring composition, or is it an interesting one?
I don't know, dear reader.
Those triangles are so very eye-catching, though.
If it hadn't been for those, and the holes, I wouldn't have taken the shot at all.
Are the sheets bulging?
Was there a bit of wind, that day?
Me, I'm still thinking of jesters.
Do you think that they are all pointing, for some reason, down to the lamp?
Or, are they trying to be teeth?
'Well, Dave? Are you going to tell us what it is, then'?
See, they are doing lots of work on one of the town's nicest and most impressive old buildings - what used to be called the Dock Offices, but which is now the Maritime Museum.
The cloth (is it cloth?), is draped over the scaffolding. Why is has the jester triangles on it, I don't know. The lower part of the photograph shows part of one of the boards which now surround the place.
I think the dirty brown holes are caused by the cloth brushing against the scaffolding joints, couplers, whatever they are called.
Not a great photo, but I think the triangles just about save it.
