But first...
Dulltown, UK: Today's slow motion image is the one of the Prime Minister squirming...

Yes, more misheard classical singing, on the studio radio.
No, but really, I do try to understand them, you know. I suppose it is the fault of the added music, that always messes it up for me.
See, poetry is understandable alright, if you like that sort of thing; you can usually get what they are going on about, ah - but then no, I'm not really a poetry fan.
What about getting to grips with words in pop, rock, music?
Yes, you can usually hear and understand the lyrics - look at the Rolling Stones, you can always get what Mick is ranting about, can't you?
Ah, but those classical singers! What is it, that makes it so very different?
I think it is because the music is generally so slow, and languorous, is that the right word?
And of course all the plot action, including the drawn-out dying, is in the words. That's the story you are supposed to be following, that's why you are listening.
I suppose I could try to listen a bit more carefully? But then, it would take a lot of effort, most opera plots, oh, and the singing in churches, are so ridiculous I think I'd be easily distracted.
But still, here, dear reader, are some more of my reasonably interesting misheard ones:
'It is, me...'
'I have a thousand pears'!
'Yes, I do ever-length rush...'
'Everything, is a pie'!
'So, now I see columns of towels.'
'You did throw it a pip-thon'?
'Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha'!
'See, I now have my brush-dee-dee'!
'I feel your proper tears, yesty-yesty day.'
'Where air? And to cup your whoo-tangs.'
'And sippling all my sleeves...'
'Ho ho ho ho!...'
'Loofee bar - and seddy dees'!
'Old demitor, old demitor! Slope me, so'!
'Are the horses ready?...'
