It was a tricky photograph to take.
I had walked past it a few times, wondering what the best way to take it would be. It was because they were fairly high up on the wall, I'd have to hold the camera raised above my head, but even so...
It's an odd a shot, isn't it?
And the flames are very well painted - so very realistic!
Are they painted, or is it a photograph of some real ones?
This is not so much a good photo, as a good and interesting thing to photograph.
It's probably a bit of the puzzle, really.
You know, it would have been better if there had been someone looking out of one of the windows. I could have shouted up, 'Hey!... I'm taking a photo of the flames, do try to look scared'!
Hm, I suppose I should explain this puzzle away now.
Or... should I leave it as it is?
Ah, I think I'd better tell you, my dear reader.
No panic, no real flames!
It is just a part of the upper story of an establishment that supplies stoves and heating, and wood burners, that sort of thing, for the home. Yes, above the first (second in the US) floor, they have all these jolly flames.
Don't they look good, and eye-catching?
