Hi all! I am once again not feeling this week's topic but I missed a good one a few weeks back, which was Bookish Goals I Still Want to Achieve this Year! I've had a great year so far related to books and reading and goals in general, so let me share a few I've already accomplished and a few that I'm still shooting for this year
As always, I'll go comment back on anyone's post as long as it's a list! I follow blogs back too!
Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together.
Grow the blog I always want to increase blog stats so this is a goal I've smashed this year. I'm far past last year for both views and visitors on the blog!
Enjoy my reading more I was taking a lot of ARCs and reading more for others than myself. I've toned it down a lot and am now focusing on books I want to read instead of what others tell me I should. Result: I'm a lot happier
Reduce burn out I'm improving but still have time to accomplish this before the year ends. It's been nice to step back during October and I'm feeling like I want to read more again. Unfortunately GrimDarkTober fell off this year but it'll hopefully be back next year!
Stay Caught up with SPSFC reading I'm on track and hope to achieve my landmark goal for being done with slush phase at the end of the year
Achieve 2k views in one month I'm trying. I was so close last month so we will see if this one happens or not
Explore new bookstores I've been all over including the UK and to many new places locally and in a wider western NY range. I'm very happy with this goal.
Share tons of audiobook love I finally had a Twitter post go viral, and I love that it was about audiobooks
Buy mostly used books and reduce spending this is a great goal and I have pretty much reduced my spending a lot over the past two years!
Read another chonky doorstopper I have time for this yet!
Read more classics I have to admit that I generally hate classics and I let my Struggling Through the Classics series fall to the wayside. I love how many people love the articles but I just let it slide as part of my goal to reduce burnout. Who knows, I still have time!
What bookish goals do you still have left in 2023?
