This is an introductory-level course in French. You will learn such things as the alphabet, how to write in French, numbers, how to write out higher numbers in French, French children's songs, learn to read in French, and to feel more comfortable speaking in French where it is OK to make mistakes! The focus of French learning will be on French from France. If there is interest, French from Canada, in particular, the Province of Québec, will also be taught. The accents and different spellings that are part of the French language will also be taught as well. Here is what I just wrote in French coming up soon. Week 1: Introduction of fun listening to French songs, and short French stories that are explained in English. The alphabet in French will also be introduced.
