Absolute Beginner Spanish Lessons for Kids With Dr. Dona - Flex! Each learner who completes this class will receive two audiobooks for children and written by the teacher as a free gift for taking this class. The audiobooks are in Spanish.
The purpose of this class is for you to learn a new language - Spanish.
In Week 1 of this class we will be focusing on the Spanish alphabet, plus basic greetings in Spanish, plus learning numbers in Spanish in a lesson plan that will be sent to you here in the Outschool classroom, and a brief two-minute video introducing myself as your teacher. During the first week of class, there will be homework for each learner to introduce themselves in Spanish and upload it to the Outschool classroom, plus include separate audio files repeating the alphabet in Spanish and counting Spanish numbers.
In Week 2, we will focus on grammar in Spanish, plus telling the time in Spanish, and asking questions in Spanish, plus some Spanish phrases. Again, there will be a brief two-minute video of the teacher saying "hola" to all learners. There will be a question and answer time in the Outschool classroom, plus a scavenger hunt game played in this class for homework.
In Week 3 of the class, we will focus again on higher-numbered Spanish numbers, plus more Spanish phrases. There will be another brief two-minute video uploaded to say "hola" to learners in the Outschool classroom. We will play a Spanish game collectively as the teacher and learners to promote a better understanding of the Spanish language. Homework will include creating your choice of video or audio files of the higher-numbered Spanish numbers.
In Week 4 of this class, the final class for this absolute beginner Spanish class, there will be a review of weeks 1 to 3. There will not be homework for the final class. All lessons will occur here in the Outschool classroom. Learners will interact with one another by asking questions, plus interact with the teacher (me) by asking questions and with the games and lessons and quizzes designed by the teacher.
