We met Gina Vintalore, owner of Selah at Bagel Talk, at 7 am. She was buying a bag of bagels for her guests. Selah is family owned, and they have just opened.
Gina says that her B&B's theme is "rest, relaxation, and renewal." Her card says, "Come--Rest and reflect at Selah". She undoubtedly got the "renewal" idea from the CMA's slogan. "Selah" is based on a Hebrew biblical word which means "interlude."
She is limiting her young guests to 12 and up. Selah will be open 12 months per year.
You can go to her site to see interior photos.
JERRY ORBACH: "There's a Small Hotel" is a Rodgers and Hart song (1937) which Sinatra sang in the movie Pal Joey. But Gina does not have a wishing well. Richard Rodgers was inspired by visiting the Stockton Inn in Stockton New Jersey. We visited that Jersey town.
